Boys tennis: RMA takes lead in 8-AA seeding race

TIGER -- The Riverside Military tennis team defeated the Rabun County boys 3-2 in Tiger on Thursday to take the lead in Region 8-AA.

The Eagles (5-3, 4-0 Region 8-AA) got wins at No. 2 singles from Sipho Khoza 6-2, 6-4 as well as at No. 1 doubles for Andrew EidsonImanol Pablovich 6-4, 6-4 and the No. 2 team of Russell BoltonPaul Popovich 6-3, 6-2.

Riverside will face Rabun County (7-2, 3-1) again on Friday in Gainesville, the winner of this match will be the No. 1 seed going into the region tournament on April 14.
