Hall libraries looking for more money for materials, capital improvements

GAINESVILLE - The Hall County Library System (HCLS) Board of Directors Tuesday night reviewed its SPLOST (Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax) request and discussed ways to raise more money for new materials and improvements to system facilities. <br /> <br /> "I pointed out we had an opportunity to leverage our local SPLOST money with another $1 million is state construction grants," Library Director Adrian Mixson said Wednesday morning, "and if we can discover more local money
