Clarkesville police ask public to help identify suspects

CLARKESVILLE - Clarkesville police are seeking the public's help in identifying two men who burglarized a business shortly before 8 a.m. Sunday.<br /> <br /> The two men, who were wearing masks, were occupying a white Toyota four-door car, possibly an Avalon, when they broke into the front door of Clarkesville Drug on Historic Highway 441.<br /> <br /> One many is described as weighing around 250 pounds, wearing a Carhartt-style coat and blue jeans. The other was said to be taller, weighing about 180 pounds and wearing a rain poncho.<br /> <br /> Officers said the call was received at 7:43 a.m. and the vehicle left headed south toward Demorest on Historic Highway 441.<br /> <br /> Anyone with information about the vehicle or suspects is asked to call Habersham Dispatch at (706) 778-3911.
