GAINESVILLE - An 18-year-old man faces charges of aggravated assault for allegedly stabbing his brother early Thursday morning on Marlow Drive in Hall County.
Hall County Sheriff's Sgt. Kiley Sargent said the call came around 3:00 a.m. Deputies believe Anthony Juan Hood stabbed his brother, 25-year-old Trevor Lee Benson, in the abdomen following an argument.
The brothers lived at the residence where the stabbing occurred on Marlow Drive off of West Ridge Road, according to Sargent.
Benson was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center and was in stable condition.
Sargent said investigators obtained an arrest warrant for Hood after he fled the scene of the crime. Hood was arrested later and booked into the Hall County Jail. Authorities would not disclose where Hood was found.
