Lady Nighthawks basketball set for third straight PBC semifinal appearance

PEMBROKE, N.C. -- The University of North Georgia women's basketball team will make its third consecutive Peach Belt Conference Tournament semifinal appearance on Saturday when the Nighthawks (West No. 2) face Georgia College (West No. 4) at 3:30 p.m. in the English E. Jones Center on the campus of UNC Pembroke.

The other semifinal features Columbus State (West No. 1) taking on USC Aiken (East No. 2) at 1 p.m. The championship game is set for Sunday at 2 p.m. with the tournament winner earning the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Division II championship.
