GAINESVILLE - The Humane Society of Northeast Georgia (HSNEGA) is now accepting registration for children who want to participate in Spring Break and Summer Day Camps, designed especially for the child that is interested in working with animals.

The camps provide children with "hands-on" experience working with HSNEGA's adoptable animals as well as age-appropriate crafts and activities centered around animal themes. Campers will also hear from educational speakers such as animal control officers, wildlife specialists, wildlife trainers and other guests.

Spring Break Camp will be held April 6-8 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Registration fee is $120 per camper for all three days, or $45 for one day. HSNEGA's week-long Summer Day Camps will be held during June and July for campers 7 to 12 years old from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Camp registration fees include a camp t-shirt, training clicker and craft materials. Children will be asked to bring their own lunch, snacks and beverages. Space is limited for these exciting camps, which fill quickly.
