Girls basketball: Dawson County moves to 10-0 with tourney win

CHATSWORTH -- The Dawson County girls basketball team defeated Coahulla Creek 70-25 on Saturday in the first round of the Mistletoe Madness Tournament at North Murray High in Chatsworth.<br /> <br /> The Lady Tigers (10-0) jumped out to a 13-0 lead and took a 24-6 first quarter advantage. <br /> <br /> Karlie Bearden paced Dawson County with 14 points, while Sheyenne Seabolt added 13 and Ansley Costley 10.<br /> <br /> The Lady Tigers play at 7 p.m. Monday against Dalton in the second round of the tournament.
