Deal to wrap up campaign bus tour in Gainesville; Christie joins the tour

ATLANTA - As election day looms, Georgia's gubernatorial candidates are canvassing the state, hoping to win as many votes as possible in what appears to be a close race for the state's highest office.<br /> <br /> Incumbent Republican Gov. Nathan Deal wraps up his campaign bus tour Saturday afternoon at the Gainesville Civic Center, and he has a GOP entourage traveling with him, including New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.<br /> <br /> The campaign stop begins at 1 p.m., according to the Hall County Republican Party. <br /> <br /> Also accompanying the governor will be first lady Sandra Deal, Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle and 9th District Congressman Doug Collins, as well as local legislators.<br /> <br /> Democrat challenger Sen. Jason Carter made a brief stop in downtown Gainesville earlier this week.<br /> <br />
