Lake Lanier Islands to hire over 200 seasonal workers

BUFORD - Lake Lanier Islands announced today that the company is looking to fill up to 239 new positions, with the introduction of their newest winter attraction, Snow World.<br />

The majority of these positions will be seasonal, though the Director of Human Resources Sandra Simon-Grindy says that on top of the 239 seasonal positions; they are looking to hire an additional 45 permanent positions. <br />
<br />
"Our season that is the most common is the summer," said Simon-Grindy. "A lot of our summer staff, we have maybe a good 25% that remain, because most of our work force has to go back to school."<br />
<br />
"We are trying to reach everyone in the community to first, be aware of this wonderful opportunity, and then obviously get them employed with us," Grindy said. <br />
Two job fairs are scheduled for Saturday, October 25 at Peachtree Pointe and Tuesday, October 28 in the Plantation Ball Room at Legacy Lodge.<br />

Positions available include front gate admissions, food and beverage servers, bartenders, hostesses, concessions, cooks, clean-up, accounting auditors, supervisors, traffic attendants and more.<br />
<br />
