BANKS COUNTY - Banks County authorities report that a county school bus was involved in a wreck Friday afternoon.<br />

The incident happened on Highway 63 when the bus was struck from behind. The highway was closed for a time as the Georgia State Patrol and Banks County authorities cleared the scene and conducted their investigation.<br />

According to Deidra Moore, EMA Director for Banks County, one individual was transported from the scene for precautionary medical reasons.<br />
<br />
Those involved in the accident were not immediately identified and authorites did not identify the injured person or which vehicle they were in.<br />
