GAINESVILLE - A Flowery Branch man has pleaded not guilty to the Christmas Day murder of his brother last year.<br />

Court documents show that Mark Alan Fyfe, 52, entered the plea earlier this week in Hall County Superior Court. Fyfe was indicted August 26 in the death of Alan Scott Fyfe, 54.<br />

Authorities said at the time that Alan Fyfe's body was found in the backyard of a house on River Hill Road. He had been shot. Mark Fyfe was arrested after a brief standoff with the Hall County Sheriff Office SWAT team. (See earlier story. Link below.)<br />
