Police: man demanding T-shirt shoots, kills clerk
By The Associated Press
ATLANTA - Atlanta police said a convenience store clerk has been fatally shot by a man demanding an extra large T-shirt.
The shooting happened at the Quick Stop Food Mart 2 in southwest Atlanta.
Witness Elliott Glass told WSB-TV the shooter walked into the store and asked for a white T-shirt size 5X. Glass said that when the clerk turned to give the man the shirt, the man started to shoot and then calmly walked out of the store.
Glass said he called 911 but said the operator put him on hold. Then he ran out to the street and flagged down a police officer.
