Inpection Notes
This is a new food service permit. Rules and regulations for food service for the state of Georgia require a Certified Food Safety Manager on staff within 90 days of permitting. Owner is CFSM Hall County Environmental Health dept. offers a basic food safety course employees that will be offered free of charge for employees to attend within 3 months of permitting. Schedule given.

The effective date of the new Food Service Rules and Regulations is February 15, 2006. Establishments permitted after February 15, 2006 will have 90 days to obtain certification for a food service manager. Enforcement of all other requirements begins on November 15, 2006.

  • ServSafe - 1-800-765-2122 website
  • National Certified Professional Food Manager website
  • The National Registry of Food Safety Professionals - 1-800-446-0257 website
  • Certified Food Protection Professional - 1-800-323-1908 website

The Hall County Environmental Health Department will be offering ServSafe classes on April 5th and 6th, 2006 (2-day attendance). Please call for more information and to register at (770) 531-3973. There is a limit of 40 persons. Future classes will be announced at a later date.
